Key Functions of the IT&T Department

Educational Technology Support: The IT&T department ensures that educational tools and platforms are available and functional, supporting a range of teaching modalities including in-person, online, and hybrid classes. This involves managing Learning Management Systems and educational software.

Telemedicine Services: Particularly in healthcare settings, the IT&T department is instrumental in setting up and maintaining telemedicine services. This includes configuring systems for remote consultations, patient monitoring, and digital health records management, thus extending healthcare services beyond traditional settings. Regular CMEs are broadcast in conjunction with various institutes including PGIMER, Chandigarh

Training and Development: The department provides technical support and training for faculty and staff on new technologies and platforms. This ensures that all users are equipped to effectively use technology in their teaching and training efforts.
